Chad Seiter
Attorney at Law
Chad Seiter (pronounced like cider) is a partner at Darpel Elder Law.
For nearly a decade, Chad Seiter has been dedicated to practicing estate planning, elder law—including both Medicaid planning and crisis cases—and probate administration. As an experienced elder law attorney, he has guided hundreds of families through the complex Medicaid application process. Chad's acumen extends to spotting and addressing estate planning issues, particularly those affecting the senior population.
A native of Northern Kentucky, Chad graduated from St. Henry District High School before earning a bachelor's degree in English literature from the University of Kentucky. He then obtained his law degree from the Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University. During his time in law school, Chad had the privilege of working as an extern for the Honorable J.R. Schrand of the Boone and Gallatin Circuit Court, the Honorable Joy A. Kramer of the Kentucky Court of Appeals, and the Honorable Michelle M. Keller of the Kentucky Supreme Court.
Chad is admitted to practice law throughout the Commonwealth of Kentucky and is a proud member of both the Kentucky Bar Association and the Northern Kentucky Bar Association.
Chad particularly enjoys assisting families in Medicaid crisis cases where a loved one will soon be, or has already been, placed in a long-term care facility and little-to-no Medicaid strategy has been implemented. He finds these challenges rewarding, as he strives to preserve as much of his clients' estates as possible.
An active member of the Northern Kentucky community, Chad is a member of the Mission Integration Committee at Notre Dame Academy as well as a member of the Senior Services Alliance. Chad is also an in-demand public speaker on elder law topics, and he routinely speaks at events with the Greater Cincinnati Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association.
